At Nature Guides Academy, we are always thinking about how to make nature guiding a truly memorable experience. One technique we consistently use is "Visual Aid," often through books or apps, to examine species in detail. However, we've often wondered how to effectively tell a creature's complex story—detailing its identity and habitat—in a way that transcends language barriers and engages all ages, where a simple illustration could be key.
This led us to develop the "Nerd Naturalist" concept! Our goal is to create illustrations that that share nerdy but fascinating information, assist nature guides and enthusiasts in the field, and spark engaging conversations.
After collaborating with some amazing illustrators and our dedicated design team, we are excited to launch a line of T-shirts featuring these unique designs.
Most importantly, part of the sales from these T-shirts goes to fund our scholarship program for our Professional Safari Guide Course!
